So for the field trip planning, we are planning our timetable. At the moment I am planning my timetable while finding nearby shops or restaurants.
I haven’t organised anything about the flights, like leaving Wellington and getting from the Athens airport to the hotel that I’m planning for the class to stay in, the Novotel Hotel, but I have organised a tour around Athens. It is 3 and a half hours, which seems a long time, but the tour is really good, because it goes all around Athens, and you get to visit famous places like the Acropolis/Parthenon (man, I get so confused, as the Parthenon stands on the Acropolis!), the Temple of Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium, and loads of other stuff. And the minivan that we go in has air-conditioning (obviously, that’s really important )!
Overall, the timetable thing is going okayish. Day 1 and Day 2 I haven’t organised that well, as I’ve only put a few things on for those days and vague times, but I’ve organised Day 3 perfectly with exact times and prices and things.
