I have no idea what to write about, so I’m just going to make a series about me and Annabelle pranking people
Neither of us are Fred/George pranksters – we just prank people whenever I go to Annabelle’s house. So I’m writing about it!
I’m not going to name the people we pranked – they did quite embarrassing things and it wouldn’t that nice if I told the world about how we pranked them.
So, this is one of the first pranks Annabelle and I did together. It was one of the most memorable and funniest pranks we’ve done!
First time me and Annabelle set up a mini-competition. The first task was to run through a (small) forest on a treasure hunt. Annabelle lead our victims through the forest to look for clues, and I ran ahead, pretending to change something in the treasure hunt. Really I looped back around Annabelle and the victims, and ended up behind them. I waited for about 10 seconds, then ran up behind them, screaming ‘Run!!!! There’s a massive snake! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!’ You may think That’s a bit far-fetched; no one would fall for that, but you can pull it off, if you a) are a convincing actor/actress b) have the prank well-thought out and c) if your victims are generally gullible. Anyway, at first the 2 victims were like ‘There aren’t any snakes in New Zealand’, but I was like ‘But I saw this massive, moving rope thing! It might be poisonous!’ They believed me, and were like ‘Oh my gosh there’s a snake! Run!’ Annabelle and I kept it up for about 20 seconds. You don’t really want to keep it up for a long time, for example 20 minutes; you’ll probably end up seriously freaking out your victims and it’ll end up not very fun. Pranks are for amusement; you shouldn’t really terrify someone (plus they’ll get really mad at you. If they’re your friends, you don’t want to ruin your friendship with a bad joke).
Anyway, after 20 seconds, we told our 2 victims that we were joking. They were slightly annoyed – ‘That’s a serious topic, you shouldn’t joke about stuff like that, it’s not funny!’ – but we told them that we only carried on the joke for a short period of time. And anyway, it was sort of their fault – they believed us very easily, way quicker than we thought.
If you want to prank someone by setting up a fake tournament, like us, you have to have some actual tasks, not just all-pranks, otherwise the victims will be like ‘Oh you’re just pranking us; we quit.’ (Seriously? Autocorrect changes ‘pranking’ to ‘fricking’. What?). Also, it is nice to have some actual challenges, because you could make the real tasks games that you all like.
So next time I’ll tell you about a prank me and Annabelle did the same day as the snake prank. The prank I’ll tell you next time involves a closet. I doubt that anyone will guess the prank we did, but prove me wrong by commenting what you think we did!
