Student Blogging Challenge instructions

Since a lot of people in the class don’t know how to the challenges for the Student Blogging Challenge, here are instructions

1. Go onto the Student Blogging Challenge website. You can go onto Google, and search ‘Student Blogging Challenge. Click the first thing that comes up (it says ‘Challenge yourself’, or something like that)

2. Find the post that has a Google form saying ‘Student sign-up 2016’ (something like that…). It’s near the bottom of the first page, so all you have to do is go to the very bottom, and scroll up. DON’T SIGN UP FOR THE CLASS! Keep scrolling once you see the Class sign-up

3. Enter all your details. For blog URL, visit your blog (not where you edit stuff, go to your actual blog), then copy and paste the blog address/URL into the form

HAHAHAHAHA, no, not yet You need to complete the weekly challenges.

1. Go to the Student Blogging Challenge website each week and read the post with whatever the challenge is (there’s a new post every Sunday)

2. Pick one or more of the activities listed (you don’t need to do all of the activities!)

3. Log into Edublogs

4. Go and do the challenge on your blog (usually you write a post about something, so you’d write a post, and publish it on your blog)

5. Go onto your blog (I mean your actual website, not where you edit things on your blog)

6. Click on the post for the Student Blogging Challenge that you wrote

7. Copy the blog address/URL (make sure that the URL goes straight to your post, not just to your blog)

8. Go back to the Student Blogging Challenge website

9. Click on the post for that week

10. Leave a comment (you should be logged in), say you did the challenge, and paste your blog post URL into the comment, and submit your comment
