(Would have posted this earlier, but I wanted to put an image in. I could only paste the picture if I was on my phone, and I couldn’t paste the link unless I was on a computer, so yeah)
For homework, we have to put a Thunk on our blog, write our opinion and 2 or 3 other people’s opinions about the Thunk. For the ‘get 2 or 3 other people’s opinions about the Thunk’ part, I’m going to get my brother and sister.
Here is an explanation of a Thunk (that I got of the Thunk website):
A Thunk is a beguilingly simple-looking question about everyday things that stops you in your tracks and helps you start to look at the world in a whole new light

When you wait for a waiter to bring you your food at a restaurant/café, does that make you a waiter?
My opinion: No, because a waiter is a person who works at a restaurant/café who takes down your order and serves you food. You are waiting, but you aren’t a waiter.
My brother Hayden’s opinion: I don’t think you would be a waiter
My sister Caroline’s opinion: Yes, but I don’t think waiter as in ‘waiting for something’ is a word, but it probably is.
I feel like putting another Thunk on here, so here is Thunk #2:
Which came first, the chicken or the egg? (There’s a really funny Niga Higa video on YouTube about this question, you should watch it. Might be swearing, I’m not sure since I saw it ages ago)
My opinion: A circle has no beginning (-Luna Lovegood, Deathly Hallows) (The Luna quote was only in the book) (If you’re wondering what part she said that in, it was when Harry and Luna were getting inside Ravenclaw common room so Harry could see what the diadem of Ravenclaw looked like. Luna was answering the door, which had asked ‘Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?’)
My brother Hayden’s opinion: I think the chicken, not sure why. I think it came out of nowhere, and then had eggs
My sister Caroline’s opinion: The egg, maybe the egg came from an ancient bird and then evolved into a chicken
