One of the activities for the Student Blogging Challenge this week is to add a new widget to your blog and write a post about it, explaining why you chose it. So, this is the post about my new Feedjit widget!
First of all, I’ll explain what it is. It shows which country and city that someone has visited my blog from. For example, if someone in Auckland, New Zealand, had visited my blog, it would say ‘A visitor from Auckland, New Zeland, visited 30 seconds ago’.
I chose the Feedjit widget because I think it’s pretty cool, and can also be helpful, if I want to see who’s been on my blog recently. I could check the world map widget I have, and see where everyone who checked out my blog comes from, but Feedjit is easier to access, although it just shows the recent visitors.
So there’s my Student Blogging Challenge task done!
