This week for the Student Blogging Challenge, I am doing Activity 1: add Halloween-themed images/widgets/headers/whatevers to your blog and write a post about why you chose it, and where you found the Halloween stuff. I’m writing about a new widget I added to my blog!
It’s a Hallowen countdown, and it says how many days, hours, minutes and seconds are left until Halloween. The time left until Halloween is inside a black pumpkin, with a flashing orange outline. I got it from Wigipedia, there’s a link to the Halloween countdown widget on Wigipedia underneath the pumpkin. I chose this widget because I like widgets, and I also like countdowns to events (like Halloween)
When I first put the countdown on my blog, instead of the pumpkin, it came up with some ads. I refreshed the page and the pumpkin came up. I don’t know whether that’ll be a problem or not, because it hasn’t happened since, but I’m not really sure.
I wish I could go trick or treating, but I’m doing a massive hip-hop concert (Romeo and Juliet) on Halloween, so no trick or treating for me 
I was planning to go as Katniss Everdeen for Halloween, but then I found out Romeo and Juliet was on Halloween, so yeah. I’ll just be Katniss next year
